Service Description

Join us for a relaxed social felting session at The Crafty Hive. Think of it as a "knit and natter" for felt makers. Bring along your own project, enjoy some company, share ideas and spend time being creative with fellow felt enthusiasts. This is not a formal workshop. Participants work on their own projects at their own pace, but I will be on hand throughout the session to offer advice, help troubleshoot problems and discuss ideas if you get stuck. You're welcome to borrow the equipment available at The Crafty Hive, but you'll need to bring your own felting needles and wool or purchase supplies from the shop. If you plan to do wet felting, please bring a couple of towels. We also have an embellisher available for anyone who would like to experiment with needle-felting techniques. Whether you're bringing a work in progress or starting something new, you're welcome to join us. Looking for Tuition? If you're a complete beginner, or already have some experience and would like to develop your skills further, tuition is available. I can tailor teaching to your experience level and help you progress to the next stage of your felting journey. Please email for further information about one-to-one or small-group teaching sessions. Private Group Bookings Private felting sessions can also be arranged for groups of friends, family members, mother-and-daughter groups, or other small gatherings looking for a creative and enjoyable experience together.
